v0.8.4 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.8.4 (beta)November 6, 2026, 09:56 UTC
The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.8.4 next to PLAY. Still on 0.6.1 or older (the launcher does not open)? Extract the zip below over your port folder once.
This update fixes Uncharted 3's crash in chapter 2 when young Sully appears, and makes Uncharted 1 much faster where the processor was the limit.
Crashes fixed
- Uncharted 3, chapter 2: "device lost" when young Sully appears (#295 #138 #342 #292 #354
#328 #365 #238 #18): the shader that moves young Sully's shirt reads past the end of its working
memory. On the PS4 those reads give zero and the game relies on that; GeForce and Intel graphics stop on them instead (AMD cards behave like the PS4, which is why only some players crashed). Every compute shader of the three games now handles those reads the way the PS4 does. Thanks to the players who sent crash reports with the breadcrumbs on: they showed the exact shader.
- The same shader's loop counts are also limited far above any real value, so damaged game data makes one slow frame instead of a crash.
- Uncharted 2 has four more shaders that read past their working memory (two of them measure the scene's brightness); they now also get the PS4's zeros.
Faster
- Uncharted 1 now uses multithreaded rendering (on once with this update; launcher setting "Multithreaded rendering"): where one processor core was the limit, 91 -> 118-120 FPS at a jet ski checkpoint (1080p, 120 FPS limit). It was off because guns flickered grey with it (#23); that no longer happens (0 flashes in 3,484 checks, 11 a minute before).
- Multithreaded rendering waits less: the processor no longer waits for the drawing thread before each nested compute job (Uncharted 2 did that about 5,600 times a second).
- The first start after the update compiles the games' compute shaders once more.
For crash reports
- GPU breadcrumbs (
GOW3_GPU_BREADCRUMBS=1inanalysis\uncharted-user\test-env.txt) now work on cards with resizable BAR (before, they could report "0 finished"), are written for every kind of "device lost", and no longer come out mixed with other lines inboot.log.
The same saves at 1080p with a 120 FPS limit, 0.8.3 -> 0.8.4, average frame rate (RTX 5080):
No problems in any run.
Full details in CHANGELOG.md.
Known issues
- Movie cutscenes freezing while the sound goes on (#226 #262 #270 #177): not fixed yet. If it happens, please attach the
hang-*.txtfile the port writes next to boot.log. - Uncharted 3, chapter 8 "The Citadel": crash (#247 #296 and others): a file of the game is missing from those dumps (
ss-area2-breakable-buildings-controller-1.bin). Check game files in the launcher shows it. - NVIDIA: "device lost" after some time in Uncharted 2 and 3 (#316 #314 #277 #76 #224 #249): please test 0.8.4 and attach your boot.log with the breadcrumbs on if it still happens.
- Uncharted 1, mouse ignored for about a second when aiming from cover (#366): being looked at.

v0.8.3 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.8.3 (beta)November 5, 2026, 20:12 UTC
The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.8.3 next to PLAY. Still on 0.6.1 or older (the launcher does not open)? Extract the zip below over your port folder once.
This update is about crashes: GeForce cards losing the graphics device in Uncharted 1 and 2, Uncharted 3's crash after the museum, games that froze or closed after playing a while, and a new crash report option that names the exact spot where the graphics card stopped.
Crashes fixed
- GeForce, "device lost" while playing (#350 #362 #353, and maybe #316 #314 #277): two of the games' skinning shaders run in groups of 1024 threads, and on NVIDIA cards such a group needs a whole block of the graphics card to itself, which can make the card fail under load. They now run in groups of 256, with the same result.
- Uncharted 3, the crash after young Nate leaves the museum (#292 #295 #354 #328): a shadow shader reads how many samples to take from the game's data, and a bad value made it loop until the graphics card was reset. The count is now limited to what a shadow ever needs.
- Games freezing with no error: a lock in the port's memory code could wait for itself when a game thread wrote a reply into memory the graphics card was watching.
- Games closing after playing a while (#362 #330 #335 #341): when part of a memory range was given back, the pages next to it were missing for a moment, and a game thread touching them closed the game. Those threads now wait for that moment to pass.
- Long sessions: "code is too big": the space for small code the port writes for each shader only ever grew, also for identical code. Identical code is now shared.
- Two rare crashes on broken game data: a broken texture description could make the port allocate memory until it ran out, and a texture-cache list could be read while it changed.
For crash reports
- If a game still closes with "device lost": create the text file
analysis\uncharted-user\test-env.txtin the port folder with the lineGOW3_GPU_BREADCRUMBS=1, and play to the crash once more. The game runs a little slower, andboot.logthen names the shaders the graphics card stopped in. Please attach thatboot.log(delete the file afterwards).
The same saves at 1080p with a 120 FPS limit, 0.8.2 -> 0.8.3, average frame rate:
No problems in any run.

- Game version 1.00 without update 1.02: most of the port's fixes need update 1.02. Support for 1.00 is being worked on.
1. Download Uncharted-windows.zip below and extract it anywhere.
2. Start Uncharted Launcher.exe and select your game folder (your dump, for example CUSA02344, with eboot.bin and sce_sys). Update 1.02 is recommended: next to the game folder named like it plus -patch, chosen in Advanced -> GAME UPDATE, or copied into the game folder.
3. Pick a game and a preset and press PLAY. Graphics cards with 6 GB of video memory or more are recommended; for 2-4 GB cards, try Save video memory (experimental).
No game files are included. You need your own dump of the Collection. Not affiliated with Sony, Naughty Dog or Bluepoint Games.

v0.8.2 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.8.2 (beta)November 5, 2026, 18:10 UTC
The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.8.2 next to PLAY. Still on 0.6.1 or older (the launcher does not open)? Extract the zip below over your port folder once.
The mouse now aims Uncharted 1's jeep gun, the save list can delete saves and shows a picture of each one, Uncharted 1's physics behave above 60 FPS, Uncharted 2's convoy truck no longer sinks into the snow, and multithreaded rendering no longer slows down for the rest of a session after a heavy moment.
Mouse and saves
- Uncharted 1: the jeep's mounted gun with the mouse (#250): the gun on the back of the jeep turned slowly with the mouse, because it still read it as a controller stick. The mouse now aims it directly. By the-best-is-best (#349).
- Save list (#349, by the-best-is-best):
- Arabic save names read properly; long names are cut at a whole character.
- A save can be deleted from the list: select it and press Delete (or Triangle) twice. It is moved to the
savedata-deletedfolder next to your saves, not erased. - Each save shows a picture of the game when it was made, instead of the game's logo.
Fixed
- Uncharted 1 above 60 FPS: barrels, crates and bodies: at 120 FPS, objects that should fall or roll could stop and hang in the air, and bodies settled too early. The game's physics counted in steps of a 60 FPS frame; they now count in time, so objects move as at 60 FPS.
- Uncharted 2 chapter 21 (the convoy): Elena's truck sinks into the snow for a moment after a bump. A value the game never sets was read as "follow the truck's own last position", so the bump's movements piled up. Only the part the game sets is read now.
- Uncharted 3, the chateau: rows of bright blue dots with DLSS, FSR, XeSS or TAA. Some wall panels are single flat quads, which the anti-aliasing treated as full-screen passes and did not shift with the rest of the scene; the gaps between them showed through. They are shifted now.
- Flicker with DLSS, FSR, XeSS or TAA: Uncharted 1's boat details and Uncharted 3's London bar surfaces are now drawn in step with the rest of the scene.
- Three rare crashes: the texture cache could read an image's settings after they were moved in memory; the GPU command processor could wait forever when its two command streams were out of step; and a sound in a format the port does not play (AAC) closed the game. The sound now stays silent instead.
- Updates and the launcher (#349): an update that fails halfway is rolled back completely, files the update could not replace are kept aside instead of lost, and a damaged game update file gives a clear message.
Faster
- Multithreaded rendering (on by default in Uncharted 3) after a heavy moment (#356): the port copies each draw's small blocks of constant data into a ring of video memory. After a moment where the graphics card fell behind, a part of that ring was never marked free again, so for the rest of the session every draw's constants took a slower path, with a driver call each time. The ring now frees that part.
- Shader lookups: the threads that prepare draws and the one that sends them no longer queue behind each other on every shader lookup.
The same saves at 1080p with a 120 FPS limit, 0.8.1 -> 0.8.2, average frame rate:
No problems in any run.

v0.8.1 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.8.1 (beta)November 2, 2026, 22:53 UTC
The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.8.1 next to PLAY. Still on 0.6.1 or older (the launcher does not open)? Extract the zip below over your port folder once.
Uncharted 1's water has its reflections back, and the mouse now turns the camera at full speed in cover and next to walls. There is a new shortcut to close the game, and fixes for GeForce GTX 10-series cards and Intel graphics.
Uncharted 1 water
- Water reflections and colour (#161 #306 #253 #331 #336): Drake's Fortune's water was a flat, dark green with no reflections, in the whole game. Each frame the game draws the reflection with a depth buffer that it clears in a way our port lost track of, so nearly the whole reflection came out black. The clear is now kept: walls, pillars, buildings, trees and the jet ski reflect again and the water has its PS4 colour (checked against the PS4 pictures in #161). No frame rate cost.
Mouse
- In cover (all three games, #250 #291 #275 #190 #158): behind cover, the mouse turned the camera very slowly, because cover still treated it as a controller stick. It now turns the camera directly, the same as outside cover: left, right, up and down.
- Next to walls (all three games): close to a wall or in a narrow spot, the camera could stick or slow down while turning with the mouse, although a controller was fine there. The games only counted the stick as "the player is turning the camera", so near walls they pushed the camera back. They now count the mouse too.
- Camera changes (starting or stopping to walk, grabbing a ledge): a mouse turn during the change is no longer lost.
- Still to do: the mouse on mounted guns (#250).
New
- Close the game with a held shortcut: hold L1 + R1 + Share + Options (Xbox: LB + RB + View + Menu) or Ctrl + Shift + Q for 2 seconds. A countdown shows on screen; let go to cancel. Progress since the last checkpoint is lost, as when closing the window. It can be turned off in the in-game menu (Insert) -> Controls.
Fixed
- GeForce GTX 10-series: crash at start (#211 #219 #252 #285): an optional driver feature the port uses for crash reports made these cards fail at start. It is now off on GeForce cards older than the RTX 20-series. Thanks to the player who tested the workaround. Please tell us if it starts for you now.
- Intel graphics: Uncharted 3 chapter 2 stops and Nate's bag disappears (#328): Intel's driver could run some of the game's compute shaders with a different number of lanes than the port built them for. They now always run with the number they were built for. We have no Intel graphics to test with, so please tell us how it works for you.
- Uncharted 3, Xbox buttons: a PlayStation circle at the bar-fight chokehold (#327).
Full details in CHANGELOG.md.
About the same frame rate as 0.8.0 (the same saves, 1080p, 120 FPS limit; 0.8.0 -> 0.8.1):
Uncharted 3 on 4 cores came out about 2% lower in our runs. Turning the new mouse code off made no difference, so it is most likely the spread between runs; tell us if you notice it. 5-minute runs of all three games, Uncharted 3 with DLSS, FSR 4 and TAA, and a start with an empty shader cache: no problems.
Known issues
- Movie cutscenes freezing while the sound goes on (#226 #262 #270 #177): not fixed yet. If it happens, please attach the
hang-*.txtfile the port writes next to boot.log. - Uncharted 3, chapter 8 "The Citadel": crash (#247 #296 and others): a file of the game is missing from those dumps (

v0.8.0 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.8.0 (beta)November 1, 2026, 09:50 UTC
The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.8.0 next to PLAY. Still on 0.6.1 or older (the launcher does not open)? Extract the zip below over your port folder once.
Smoother motion with VSync, older CPUs supported, faster heavy scenes, fixes for AMD menus and several crashes, and save protection against power cuts.
Smoother
- Jerky camera with VSync (most noticeable in Uncharted 1): when the frame rate matched the monitor (for example 75 FPS on a 75 Hz screen), some sessions ran the game in uneven pairs of frames: the counter said 75 FPS but the motion looked like half of that. The port's frame pacing could leave an extra frame waiting for the screen and never catch up. Fixed in all three games; in our tests every session is now smooth.
- Idle game threads: Auto (#274) now keeps Uncharted 1's helper threads awake (Spin) on CPUs with 8 or more threads, where it smooths the camera. Uncharted 2 and 3 keep Sleep, as before.
Faster in heavy scenes
The thread that feeds the graphics card no longer waits behind other threads. Measured against 0.7.2 at the spots we test (the same saves, 1080p, 120 FPS limit, before -> after):
Without the frame-rate limit, Uncharted 2 at that spot went from about 121 to 132 FPS. On 4-core CPUs Uncharted 2 stays about the same.
Gains depend on your PC; the frame-rate limit caps them on fast PCs.
Older and smaller PCs
- Older CPUs now run the games (#154, #299): Intel 2nd and 3rd generation Core (Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge, for example the i5-3570 or i7-2600) and AMD FX. Before, a 4th generation (Haswell) or newer CPU was needed. The few instructions these CPUs lack are carried out by the port.
- Experimental: Save video memory (launcher -> Performance), for graphics cards with 2-4 GB: about 30% less video memory (Uncharted 2 at 720p: 2.1 -> 1.5 GB) with the same picture. It is new and we have not been able to try it on a real 2 GB card yet, so it is off unless you turn it on. Please tell us how it works for you.
New options
- No depth of field (Uncharted 2 and 3, launcher -> Advanced, #169): turns off the background blur while aiming, in cutscenes and in gameplay. Needs update 1.02.
- Stretch movies to the screen (Advanced, #145): the prerecorded cutscenes are 16:9; on ultrawide screens they keep their shape with black bars unless this is on.
Fixed
- AMD Radeon: flickering menus and black blocks at 1080p and 1440p (#236, #278, #325): with sharpening on, the sharpening pass could read the picture before the graphics card had finished drawing the menu.
- Thin bright line at the right and bottom edges with FSR 4 or TAA (#297, #325): the sharpening pass read past the picture's edge. Please tell us if you still see it.
- Crash "read at 0x20" in all three games (#205, #304, #326): a game job could run without its parameters.
- Uncharted 3, chapter 2: graphics driver stop (#328 and others): two effect shaders could loop on garbage counts.
- Crash at start on PCs whose video memory is almost full.
- Uncharted 3 movies playing at double speed at 120 FPS.
- Uncharted 1 and 2: "pAction" stop at high frame rates (#293): the player's move-action pool is larger. Tell us if it still happens.
- Quick button taps on a controller were missed (#309, for example the lever in Uncharted 1's Treasure Vault): a press and release between two of the game's pad reads now counts. Tell us if it still happens.
- Saves after a power cut (#311): a save is now written to disk as soon as the game finishes it, and the port keeps a copy of the last good save. If a save is found empty after a power cut or crash, that copy is put back when the game loads it.

v0.7.2 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.7.2 (beta)October 29, 2026, 10:57 UTC
The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.7.2 next to PLAY. Still on 0.6.1 or older (the launcher does not open)? Extract the zip below over your port folder once.
More frames and fewer stutters on every CPU, sharp aiming again at high resolutions, a fix for an Uncharted 3 crash and a gamepad fix.
Faster
The thread that feeds the graphics card was waiting on Windows and on memory housekeeping. Measured in our tests (same save, same spot, before -> after):
Measured at a 120 FPS limit with the game window in the background; gains depend on your PC, and slower CPUs and laptops gain the most in smoothness (1% lows).
New options
- Texture filtering (launcher -> Advanced): Game / 4x / 8x / 16x for all three games, sharper ground and walls at an angle, almost no frame-rate cost.
- Sharper lamp shadows and Full-resolution textures (Uncharted 2 and 3, Advanced): the games' own higher-quality settings that were off on the PS4. Off by default.
- In-game menu shortcut in the launcher (#300): L2 + R3, Select + Start or keyboard only (L2 + R3 also zooms the scope with some guns).
- Check game files (Advanced -> FOLDERS): lists every file missing from your game folder.
Fixed
- Blurry aiming (#276): with multithreaded rendering on and above 1080p (DLAA, 1440p, 3440x1440, 4K), the aim focus point was taken from beside the crosshair, so everything but Nate was blurred. Fixed in Uncharted 2 and 3.
- Uncharted 3: crash in "Stay in the Light" (#284): a light pointing in one exact direction made the game's own shadow-camera check stop the game. That light now keeps its last good frame instead.
- Gamepad stops responding until a key is pressed, or in exclusive fullscreen (#281, thanks to vladector).
- No mouse cursor in the in-game menu (#300).

Known issues
- Movie cutscenes freezing while the sound goes on (#226 #262 #270 #177): not fixed yet. If it happens, please attach the
hang-*.txtfile the port writes next to boot.log. - Uncharted 3, chapter 8 "The Citadel": crash (#247 #296 and others): in the logs we have, the game stops because a file of the game is missing from the player's dump (
ss-area2-breakable-buildings-controller-1.bin). Check game files in the launcher shows it. - GeForce GTX 10-series: crash at start (#211 #219 #252 #285). Being looked at.
Graphics cards with 6 GB of video memory or more.

A fix for AMD Radeon cards crashing with upscaling or TAA, treasures shown again with upscaling, and a few launcher fixes.
Fixed
- AMD Radeon: crash with FSR upscaling or TAA (#273 #272, likely #246 #197): the character motion vectors (added in 0.5.0) addressed their data in a way AMD's shader compiler cut short, so AMD cards stopped on the first upscaled frame. Fixed; the motion vectors stay on for AMD. Tested on an AMD RDNA2 GPU and on NVIDIA.
- Treasures invisible with upscaling (#260 #225 #209 #136): with DLSS, FSR or TAA upscaling the treasure model in the pickup popup and on the Treasures screen was drawn into a picture that is never shown (DLAA worked). It now shows with every upscaler.
- Saves: a save slot that failed to open was still reported as opened, so a save could fail to load without an error. The port now reports it, and has room for more open save slots.
- Launcher: Steam now counts play time for the per-game Add to Steam entries (#267; please add the games again once); dark title bar (#215); the PlayStation touchpad is shown on the Controls page (#214); control labels (#256).

Uncharted 3 no longer washed out on RTX 30 and 40 cards, subtitles over Uncharted 3's movies with upscaling, fixes for start and chapter 8 crashes, an IGPU preset and Add to Steam in the launcher.
Fixed
- Uncharted 3 washed out / too bright on GeForce RTX 30 and 40 cards (#199 #195 #204 #212): the game's automatic exposure measured the picture wrong on these cards (its brightness sum relied on a detail of the PS4's GPU), so everything came out about twice as bright. It is now measured correctly on every card. Thanks to everyone who answered the questions in those issues.
- Uncharted 3: subtitles missing over movies with DLSS, FSR or TAA upscaling (#237 #243 #222).
- AMD: crash at start after a while, or after changing upscaling (#230 #201 #206 #185): saved shaders could be paired with the wrong parts when loaded. They are now loaded only with the parts they were saved with, and if a game ever stops while loading its saved shaders, the next start clears and rebuilds them by itself.
- Uncharted 2 and 3 on game version 1.00: crash in chapter 8 (
m_lookAt, #148, likely #210): the fix from 1.02 now covers 1.00 too. - "Update 1.02" shown although the games are 1.00 (#148 #176): a 1.02 version file with the 1.00 game files is now detected, and the launcher shows the "install update 1.02" warning.
New
- Advanced -> Uncharted 3 exposure: an optional setting to make Uncharted 3 darker if you still find it too bright (-0.3, -0.6 or -1.0; "Game's" = unchanged). Based on pavlikdcx's patch (#199).
- IGPU preset for Intel and AMD integrated graphics: 540-720p with FSR 1 to 1080p (adapted from PR #223 by memeguyoffical).
- Add to Steam (Advanced -> STEAM): adds the port to your Steam library as a non-Steam game, with pictures made from your own game files. Close Steam first.
Also merged: #240 (Windows test builds) and #227 (the release zip is written by Python, with forward-slash paths) by moistman7; #231 by Sparks and #244 by fidalgojoao (research and code that is not active in this release). Thank you!

v0.6.2 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.6.2 (beta)October 25, 2026, 08:19 UTC
Hotfix for 0.6.1: the launcher did not open after the update to 0.6.1 (#208). Sorry about that!
If your launcher does not open (0.6.1)
The 0.6.1 launcher can't update itself, so update by hand once:
1. Download Uncharted-windows.zip below.
2. Extract it over your current port folder and allow it to replace files. Your saves, settings and shader cache stay (they are in analysis\uncharted-user).
3. Start Uncharted Launcher.exe again.
On 0.6.0 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.6.2 next to PLAY.
Fixed
- The launcher did not open after updating to 0.6.1 (#208): the 0.6.1 package was missing one of the launcher's files. It is included now, and the launcher opens even if that file is missing.
Everything from 0.6.1 is included: fewer random crashes in all three games, 1:1 mouse aiming in Drake's Fortune, no more RivaTuner flicker and better ultrawide shadows in Uncharted 2. Full details in CHANGELOG.md.
1. Download Uncharted-windows.zip below and extract it anywhere.
2. Start Uncharted Launcher.exe and select your game folder (your dump, for example CUSA02344, with eboot.bin and sce_sys). Update 1.02 is recommended: next to the game folder named like it plus -patch, chosen in Advanced -> GAME UPDATE, or copied into the game folder.

v0.6.1 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.6.1 (beta)October 25, 2026, 06:48 UTC
On 0.6.0 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.6.1 next to PLAY.
Fewer random crashes in all three games, 1:1 mouse aiming in Drake's Fortune, no more RivaTuner flicker, and better ultrawide shadows in Uncharted 2.
Fixed
- Fewer random crashes in all three games (crashes like "execute access to 0" or a sudden close to the desktop, possibly also #205): the PS4 code keeps some values just below the stack, and when Windows handled a page fault in such a routine it could overwrite them. We had fixed two of these routines by hand; now every such routine in all three games is protected at start (162 in Drake's Fortune, 144 in Uncharted 2, 153 in Uncharted 3), with no speed cost. Please tell us if a crash like this still happens.
- RivaTuner's on-screen display flickered (#127 #128): when RivaTuner runs, the game now presents its frames the way RivaTuner expects.
- Uncharted 2 ultrawide: shadows at the sides of the screen came and went as the camera turned at 21:9 and 32:9. Thanks to Ferosnow95 (#192).
New
- Drake's Fortune: mouse aiming without the "stick" feel (#190): aiming now turns directly from the mouse, like Uncharted 2 and 3 since 0.6.0: the same movement turns the same angle, slow or fast, with no speed cap and no acceleration.
Full details in CHANGELOG.md.
Known issues
- Uncharted 3 too bright or washed out on some PCs (#199 #204): we can't reproduce it on our test PC, so please answer the questions in those issues (graphics card, driver, Windows HDR).
- Japanese, Korean and Chinese can't be selected in the European copy (#108). Being looked at.
- Movies (FMV) slower than the sound on some PCs (#77). Being looked at.
- Rare "device lost" crashes after long sessions (#130 #132 #183): please attach boot.log.

v0.6.0 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.6.0 (beta)October 24, 2026, 18:38 UTC
On 0.5.0 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.6.0 next to PLAY.
Crash fixes, half the RAM, mouse aiming without the "stick" feel, save profiles and more.
Fixed
- Uncharted 2: the most common crash, "read access to 0 at guest offset 0xd09665" (#61 #113
#115 #164 #181 #187), often around trains: a particle routine lost one of its values when
Windows handled a page fault in the middle of it. Please tell us if it still happens.
- Crash on a broken texture in Uncharted 1 and 2 ("pixel_format.cpp NumBitsPerBlock", #144
#155 #157).
- Games stopping at start with update 1.02 in a separate folder ("files.json -> not found", "ASSERTION: root"; #43 #73 #139 #151 #153 #165 and others): on PCs where Windows allows symbolic links (Developer Mode, or the launcher run as administrator), the game read the update's files as empty.
- Half the RAM and a faster start (#186 #95 #100): Uncharted 2 used 15.5 GB of RAM in our test, now 7.0 GB, and shader loading at the start takes about 10 s instead of 40 s. The old "pipeline-binaries" folder (up to 20 GB) is deleted at the first start.
- Shader-compile freezes that 0.5.0 still had (#144 #132 #142 #117).
- Uncharted 3 too bright in sunny areas (#140): the bloom (the glow around bright light) now reaches the picture instead of a stale haze.
- Updating keeps your own files (#134): ReShade files, notes or a game folder you put into the port's folders are no longer removed by the launcher's update.
- The update download continues after a stall (#150) instead of failing.
New
- Mouse aiming without the "stick" feel (#190 #86 #141 #158 #170): aiming in Uncharted 2 and 3, and the camera in Drake's Fortune, now turn directly from the mouse: the same movement turns the same angle, slow or fast, with no speed cap and no acceleration. Sensitivity goes up to 5x in the launcher (10x in the in-game menu). Cover and Drake's Fortune's aiming still use the previous method for now.
- Save profiles (#66): launcher Advanced -> Save profile. Three per game, each with its own progress and in-game settings. Profile 1 holds your existing saves; switching never deletes one.
- Controller vibration on/off (#166): launcher Controls and the in-game Controls tab.
- Mouse side buttons can be bound in the launcher (#152).
- Temperatures in the performance counter and the counter's settings on the launcher's Display tab (#178 #179, thanks to memeguyoffical).
- A crash message now says when the game is version 1.00 without update 1.02, and device-lost crash logs include the graphics driver's fault report.
Full details in CHANGELOG.md.

v0.5.0 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.5.0 (beta)October 21, 2026, 16:57 UTC
On 0.4.1 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.5.0 next to PLAY.
A big update: the most common crashes fixed, smoother play on laptops, and new features: trophies, 5.1/7.1 surround sound, the controller light bar and every reward unlockable.
New
- Trophies: earned trophies are saved and shown with a PS5-style popup (the trophy's picture from your copy of the game and a short chime). The in-game menu (Insert) has a Trophies tab with every trophy of the running game. Trophy names are encrypted in the game files and are not shown. Trophies earned with earlier versions were not saved, so the count starts at zero.
- 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound: the games' own surround mixes, picked from your Windows sound output (launcher Advanced -> Speakers: Auto, Stereo, 5.1 or 7.1). Stereo and headphones keep the games' stereo mix.
- Unlock all rewards (launcher Advanced): every reward in Bonuses (skins, weapons, render modes, art galleries, gameplay tweaks) and every story cutscene, in all three games, usable without finishing the game first. Nothing is saved: turned off, you see your own progress.
- Controller light bar: DualShock 4 and DualSense show the games' light bar colours.
- US version (CUSA02320) supported, and Install game from .pkg in the launcher.
- Mouse options: aim sensitivity, up/down speed, invert left/right; smoother mouse aiming.
- Sharper moving characters with DLSS / FSR (#84, thanks to kuraeow): characters now carry their own motion vectors, so faces, hair and clothes no longer smear; and the screen wipe covers the whole screen below 720p (Steam Deck).
Fixed
- Drake's Fortune: the most common crash ("execute access to 0", #27 #30 #42 #62 #94 #102
#107), and the same crash in Uncharted 2 chapter 5 (#109).
- Uncharted 2: crash on a garbage texture ("image_info.cpp UpdateSize: Assertion Failed").
- Multithreaded rendering no longer makes objects flicker (flat white objects in Uncharted 2, flat grey weapons in Drake's Fortune, #23), at no FPS cost.
- Multi-second freezes in all three games from shader compiles (#71 #74 #79 #105).
- Crash or very long start while loading shaders for players of earlier versions (#92 #95): old caches kept thousands of unused shader versions; they are removed once.
- Wrong-looking surfaces from a damaged shader cache are repaired.
- Memory growth over long sessions (#95): video memory is given back, a leak of ~140 MB a minute is gone.
- Stutter when the next area loads on most laptops and integrated GPUs (Resizable BAR).
- Shader cache kept per graphics card on laptops that switch between integrated and dedicated graphics.
- Drake's Deception: multithreaded rendering on by default (60 FPS where one CPU thread was the limit on a laptop).
- Aiming blur above 1080p (Uncharted 2 and 3), the Uncharted 3 d-pad keyboard prompt, a warning for USB/SD/exFAT drives, less "out of device memory" on small cards (#81).
Full details in CHANGELOG.md.
Known issues
- Japanese, Korean and Chinese can't be selected in the European copy (#108). Being looked at.

v0.4.1 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.4.1 (beta)October 19, 2026, 20:10 UTC
On 0.4.0 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.4.1 next to PLAY.
A small update with two crash fixes.
Fixed
- Drake's Fortune: crash after about an hour ("out of device memory") (#63). The game handed the port a render target described by garbage data (a 960x540 image with 6,772 layers, 16 GB); creating it took all video memory. Impossible images like that are now skipped.
- Uncharted 2: crash in the port's own code (#56). A texture sampler asked for a custom border color from a table the game had not set; it is now read safely.
Everything in 0.4.0 (real upscaling with DLSS / FSR, no more freeze before cutscenes, the grenade launcher fix, ...) is of course included. See CHANGELOG.md.
Known issues
- US version (CUSA02320) with update 1.02 stops at start for some players (#29, #43). Being looked at; renaming the update folder (
...-patch) starts the games as 1.00 meanwhile. - Uncharted 1 can crash in the first levels (#42, #62). Being looked at.
Graphics cards with 6 GB of video memory or more.
No game files are included. You need your own dump of the Collection. Not affiliated with Sony, Naughty Dog or Bluepoint Games.

v0.4.0 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.4.0 (beta)October 19, 2026, 18:08 UTC
On 0.3.1 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.4.0 next to PLAY.
New
- Real upscaling (by kuraeow, #50; asked for in #45): Display -> Upscaling: FSR 1, FSR 3.1, FSR 4 or DLSS, with Quality, Balanced, Performance or Ultra Performance. The game draws below your resolution and each frame is upscaled before the HUD and menus are drawn, so they stay sharp. DLAA / Native AA (no upscaling) works as before. Upscaling saves GPU time: it helps most at 4K and on weaker graphics cards, less where the processor limits the frame rate. Moving characters can smear below Quality. The Low preset is now 1080p with FSR 1 Performance (sharp HUD).
Fixed
- Freezes before some cutscenes (#52): about 1.6 s on PC, up to 33 s on the Steam Deck. Gone: the same cutscene went from a 1650 ms frame to about 200 ms.
- Drake's Fortune: enemy grenade launchers no longer blow up on Drake (#6). From the second shot on, the grenade exploded right in front of him; every shot now flies to its target.
- Uncharted 3 could freeze for good with Multithreaded rendering on (#51). Fixed; to be safe, Multithreaded rendering stays off for Uncharted 3 until players confirm it.
- Drake's Fortune: Infinite ammo (Cheats tab) now keeps the magazine full too.
Known issues
- US version (CUSA02320) with update 1.02 stops at start for some players (#29, #43, #48). Being looked at; renaming the update folder (
...-patch) starts the games as 1.00 meanwhile. - Uncharted 1 can crash in the first levels (#42, #30). Being looked at.
See CHANGELOG.md.

3. Pick a game and a preset and press PLAY.

v0.3.1 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.3.1 (beta)October 19, 2026, 07:30 UTC
On 0.3.0 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.3.1 next to PLAY.
Fixed
- Sun shadows no longer flicker with TAA, FSR or DLSS/DLAA.
- Steadier anti-aliasing: the port started each frame twice, which threw away the anti-aliasing's history every frame (shimmering edges). Now it starts once per frame.
- AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT: games stopped at start with "Failed to create graphics pipeline" (#40). A pipeline the driver refuses is now created again without the pipeline cache; if it is still refused, only the draws that need it are skipped. Not tested on that card yet: please report how it goes.
- Steam Deck and other Linux AMD/Intel graphics: GPU memory binding and large texture conversions now stay within what those GPUs support.
- Desktop shortcut and Game shortcuts with a moved Desktop (OneDrive, redirected) (#39).
- "exception 0x20474343" now says what failed (#47), for example running out of memory.
New
- Choose your game update in the launcher (#32): Advanced -> GAME UPDATE -> Choose update folder (wherever your extracted update 1.02 is), or Install from .pkg. The update is checked first, and a damaged one is named before the game starts.
- Steam Deck (by kuraeow, #35-#38): 16:10 (1280x800), movies keep their shape at 16:10 and ultrawide, update 1.02 merged into the game folder is recognised, and one set of launcher options for every Steam shortcut under Proton.
The shadow and anti-aliasing fixes are ported from SuperMedo's Uncharted port (kj2223), and the Steam Deck graphics fixes too (hugouchoasborges). Thank you!
Known issues
- US version (CUSA02320) with update 1.02 stops at start (#29, #43, #48). Being looked at. Meanwhile, renaming the update folder (

v0.3.0 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.3.0 (beta)October 18, 2026, 20:32 UTC
On 0.2.3 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.3.0 next to PLAY.
Fixed
- Random crashes after a while ("exit code 3") (#30, #24, #27). GPU results reach the game's memory a little late; when the game had reused that memory in between (an area unloading, a cutscene starting), the late copy overwrote it and the game crashed later. That can no longer happen.
- Crash after a long session in Uncharted 2, and a freeze inside the port's fault handling.
- Graphics cards with 6-8 GB: no more texture thrashing (hitches, and the crashes in #24).
- Uncharted 3: blurry view when aiming (#16).
- Ultrawide (21:9 / 32:9) now shows more at the sides instead of cutting the top and bottom (#20).
- Fewer shader hitches: compute shaders are compiled in the background before they are needed.
- Update 1.02 from exFAT/FAT32 drives (USB sticks), "Error 1450" with 16 GB of RAM, AMD and RTX laptop hitches, Uncharted 3 level-start freeze (work from a ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop).
New
- Cheats (#26): the launcher's new Cheats tab: Invincible, Infinite ammo, No reload, Infinite grenades, One-hit kills (needs update 1.02).
- Start a game directly (#25): Launcher -> Advanced -> Game shortcuts, or double-click a game's card.
- Launcher: easier to use, a "Recommended" preset for your graphics card, hidden buttons fixed.
- Crash messages say what crashed, and a freeze report is saved when a game stops showing frames for 30 seconds. Please attach
boot.log(and thehang-*.txt) to a GitHub issue. - A warning when update 1.02 is missing: most fixes need it.
See CHANGELOG.md.

v0.2.3 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.2.3 (beta)October 18, 2026, 13:57 UTC
On 0.2.2 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.2.3 next to PLAY.
Fixed
- Uncharted 1: guns flickering flat grey (#23). With multithreaded rendering on, Nate's rifle and pistol (and at times other objects) were drawn flat grey on some frames. Drake's Fortune now always runs without multithreaded rendering; it gave no extra speed there.
- Uncharted 2 crash
ASSERTION: m_lookAt.X() == m_lookAt.X()(#24). The point Nate looks at could become invalid and the game stopped. It now resets that point instead, like the Uncharted 3 fix from 0.2.0.
Also in 0.2.2 (if you skipped it): the Windows 10 start-up crash in all three games (#22), the Uncharted 3 Syria crash (#21), all 22 languages and Unlock all chapters (launcher -> Advanced).
Known issue
- Ultrawide (21:9 / 32:9) cuts off the top and bottom instead of showing more at the sides (#20). A fix is in progress; until then, 16:9 shows the full view.
See CHANGELOG.md.
1. Download Uncharted-windows.zip below and extract it anywhere.

v0.2.2 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.2.2 (beta)October 18, 2026, 11:29 UTC
On 0.2.1 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.2.2 next to PLAY.
Fixed
- Windows 10: all three games crashed right at start on some PCs (#22). The games run their job code on PS4 fibers, small stacks in the game's own memory. Some Windows 10 builds ended the game whenever it continued after an exception on such a stack. The port now tells Windows which stack is in use first.
- Uncharted 3 crash in the Syria chapter (#21,
PatchImageSharp: Assertion Failed). A damaged image description during a level load stopped the game; that one write is now skipped. - Launcher errors are no longer silent. If the launcher can't start, it now shows the error and saves it to
analysis\uncharted-user\launcher-error.log; please attach that file to an issue. - Long sessions: a diagnostics list grew with every GPU image and buffer the game made; it is now only kept when GPU fault diagnostics are switched on.
New
- All of the Collection's languages. Launcher -> Advanced -> Language: pick any of the 22 languages the games have text for. Each game's main menu then offers it next to English: press Square there to switch menus and subtitles. Spoken language depends on your copy of the game; the list marks the languages yours has voices for.
- Unlock all chapters. Launcher -> Advanced -> Unlock all chapters: every chapter in all three games' Chapters menu, plus the Brutal difficulty, without finishing the games first. Your saves and progress are untouched. Off by default; needs update 1.02.
Known issue
- Ultrawide (21:9 / 32:9) cuts off the top and bottom instead of showing more at the sides (#20). A fix is in progress; until then, 16:9 shows the full view.
Everything else is as in 0.2.1: see CHANGELOG.md.

v0.2.1 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.2.1 (beta)October 18, 2026, 08:09 UTC
On 0.2.0 or older? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.2.1 next to PLAY.
Fixed
- NVIDIA DLAA and AMD FSR 4 Native AA were missing from the 0.2.0 download. The package build could not fetch their files, so the in-game menu (Image -> Anti-aliasing) and the launcher only offered TAA and FSR 3.1. They are in this package: DLAA on NVIDIA RTX cards, FSR 4 on GPUs that can run its 8-bit model.
Everything else is as in 0.2.0: anti-aliasing, ultrawide, smooth frame pacing above 60 FPS with VSync, the Uncharted 3 rooftop freeze and crash fixes, controls in the in-game menu with your own menu shortcut, and the rest: see the 0.2.0 release and CHANGELOG.md.
1. Download Uncharted-windows.zip below and extract it anywhere.
2. Start Uncharted Launcher.exe and select your game folder (the dumped CUSA02344 folder with eboot.bin and sce_sys). Recommended: update 1.02 next to it, named like it plus -patch.
3. Pick a game and a preset and press PLAY.

v0.2.0 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.2.0 (beta)October 18, 2026, 07:34 UTC
A big one: anti-aliasing with NVIDIA DLAA and AMD FSR, ultrawide, much smoother frame pacing, crash and freeze fixes in all three games, and full control rebinding in the in-game menu.
On 0.1.x? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.2.0 next to PLAY.
Fixed
- Crashes in all three games (#11, #12, #17): the most reported crash (
m_gfxEopTickin FrameBegin, after short stalls) no longer stops the game; it waits for the GPU frame instead. - Uncharted 3:
- freeze on the Cartagena rooftops (chapter 2), about 30 seconds into the chase;
- crash climbing the Citadel in chapter 8 (#13);
- Sully's shirt exploding into flat-coloured triangles on NVIDIA GPUs (#9), and the GPU crash ("Device lost") when young Sully appears after the museum (#18);
- Nate's legs flickering and NPCs floating a little;
- stopping shortly after a level starts on AMD integrated GPUs (not seen any more in a 6-minute test; tell us if it still happens).
- Cutscenes above 60 FPS played too fast and out of sync with their sound.
- Hitches after loading: the shader cache now loads in the background at the title screen, so shaders are no longer compiled during play (Uncharted 3 had 90-170 ms hitches after each load).
Smoother and faster
- Even frame pacing above 60 FPS with VSync: with a frame rate limit at or above your monitor's refresh rate, the game now follows the monitor. On a 75 Hz monitor at the 120 setting: an even 75 FPS, 1% lows 32 -> 66 FPS (Uncharted 3) and 22 -> 67 FPS (Uncharted 2), no frame over 20 ms (28-35% before). New frame rate limits 75, 90 and 100 for such monitors and variable refresh screens.
- Much faster at 4K and in crowds (Ryzen 9 9950X3D + RTX 5080): Uncharted 2's heaviest view 38 -> 99 FPS, Uncharted 3's Cartagena crowd 69 -> 90, Drake's Fortune 95 -> 101.
- Multithreaded rendering is much faster: 4K Uncharted 3 100 FPS, Uncharted 2 118.
- Low-end PCs: the games no longer take every core of a 4-6 core CPU (idle game threads sleep): 4 cores 60 FPS at the title (was 19-27), integrated GPUs 27 FPS at 720p (was 5-7). New 540p render resolution for integrated GPUs.
Lowest PC that plays
- Needs: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit); a CPU from Intel's 4th-generation Core (Haswell, 2013) or newer, or any AMD Ryzen (the games need AVX, F16C, BMI1, MOVBE and LZCNT); a graphics card or integrated GPU with Vulkan 1.3 and a current driver; about 6 GB of free RAM for the game (16 GB in the PC recommended).
- Weakest GPU tested: the integrated AMD Radeon graphics of a Ryzen 7000/9000 desktop CPU (2 compute units, about a quarter of a PS4's GPU). At 720p: Uncharted 3 27-39 FPS, Uncharted 2 27 FPS, Drake's Fortune 24 FPS; at 540p Uncharted 3 33 FPS. Playable, not smooth. Settings: preset Low, render resolution 540p or 720p with FSR 1, anti-aliasing off.
- 4 CPU cores: 60 FPS in Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 3 (title screen and in play; a 4-core test with a fast GPU), with Idle game threads: Sleep (the default). On a 4-6 core CPU also try Multithreaded rendering (per game) and keep Frames queued at 1.
- Players report: Core i5-10400F + RTX 3050 6 GB plays Uncharted 2 and 3.
New
- Anti-aliasing (in-game menu -> Image, or launcher -> Display): TAA, AMD FSR 3.1 Native AA, AMD FSR 4 Native AA and NVIDIA DLAA (RTX), in all three games, at any render resolution. Edge shimmer is roughly halved (DLAA: a third). DLAA uses NVIDIA DLSS technology.
- Ultrawide (#7): launcher -> Display -> Aspect ratio 21:9 or 32:9. More to the sides, nothing stretched; the HUD and menus keep their layout.
- Controls in the in-game menu: rebind every action for keyboard, mouse and controller, mouse sensitivity and invert, button icons, camera speed. The menu's own shortcut is yours too (#15, #19): LT + R3, View + Menu, none, or any buttons you pick; and any keyboard key instead of Insert.

v0.1.2 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.1.2 (beta)October 16, 2026, 16:57 UTC
On 0.1.1? The launcher offers this update: press UPDATE TO 0.1.2 next to PLAY.
Fixed
- Uncharted 3: crashes in the opening bar fight and the Cartagena museum, and characters flying around.
- Uncharted 1: crash after the opening boat scene.
- Uncharted 2: NPCs coming from the sky, NPCs floating in the air, Nate's feet sinking into the floor and NPC legs flickering while they walk. Every preset queues 1 frame again; the update moves preset settings back from 2 to 1 for you.
- Uncharted 2: blurry background while aiming. The aiming depth of field never got the distance to the crosshair (it is computed on the GPU), and above 1080p it measured the wrong spot of the screen. Sharp at every resolution now.
- Uncharted 2: GPU hang ("Device lost") after a long session, caused by the treasure pickup effect.
- Multithreaded rendering: the crashes within minutes (Uncharted 3) and the floating NPCs (Uncharted 2) are fixed. It is still experimental and gives no speed-up on fast CPUs.
Faster
- About 12% more FPS in the heaviest Uncharted 2 scenes (and about 9% less CPU work per frame in Uncharted 3): optimizations that were switched off while bugs were hunted are on again.
- 74-85% less data copied back from the GPU every second in all three games (Uncharted 2: about 560 -> 90 MB/s): copies the game never reads are skipped. Helps slower PCs most.
- Less CPU work per draw (about 20% in heavy Uncharted 2 scenes).
New
- More frame rate limits in the in-game menu and the launcher: 40, 45, 50 and 55 FPS (also handy to compare in tests).
Known issues
- Uncharted 3: Sully's shirt in the bar can flicker at 60 FPS (not at 30). Still being looked at.
- The heaviest Uncharted 2 scenes run at about 50 FPS (the PS4's GPU command processing runs on one CPU core). More optimization is planned.
- Recording with OBS Game Capture: if OBS keeps losing and re-hooking the game, the game's memory use grows. With an NVIDIA card set NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage 3D settings -> Program settings -> Uncharted.exe -> Vulkan/OpenGL present method: Prefer native, or use OBS Window Capture.
- Frames queued 2 is faster in heavy scenes, but GPU results reach the game a frame later: keep it at 1.
- Report problems with the log from the launcher's Advanced -> Open log folder.
1. Download Uncharted-windows.zip below and extract it anywhere.
2. Start Uncharted Launcher.exe and select your game folder (the dumped CUSA02344 folder with eboot.bin and sce_sys). Recommended: update 1.02 next to it, named like it plus -patch.

v0.1.1 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.1.1 (beta)October 15, 2026, 14:43 UTC
New: the launcher updates itself
From this version on, the launcher checks for a new release when it starts and shows UPDATE TO x.y.z next to PLAY when there is one. It asks first, downloads the package, checks it against the SHA-256 that GitHub publishes for the release, installs it and starts again.
- Your saves, settings and shader cache are kept.
- If anything goes wrong (for example the game is still running), every replaced file is put back and the installed version keeps working.
- Advanced tab: turn the check off, or press Check for updates.
Coming from 0.1.0: download this version once by hand (0.1.0 has no update button yet), and copy the analysis folder from your old folder into the new one: it holds your saves, settings and shader cache.
1. Download Uncharted-windows.zip below and extract it anywhere.
2. Start Uncharted Launcher.exe and select your game folder (the dumped CUSA02344 folder with eboot.bin and sce_sys, often called uroot).
3. Recommended: update 1.02. Extract it next to the game folder, named like it plus -patch (for example CUSA02344-patch).
4. Pick a game and a preset and press PLAY. The first start of each game compiles shaders.
No game files are included. You need your own dump of the Collection (CUSA02344). This project is not affiliated with Sony, Naughty Dog or Bluepoint Games.
Everything in 0.1.0 still applies (what works, recommended settings). Full list of changes: CHANGELOG.md.
Known issues
- Some heavy Uncharted 2 scenes still dip below 60 FPS with short hitches (frames of 35-50 ms a few times a second). Work on them continues.
- Multithreaded rendering with Frames queued 2 can end Uncharted 2 with the game assert
m_gfxEopTickafter a few minutes: leave multithreaded rendering off. - Report problems with the log from the launcher's Advanced → Open log folder.
License and credits
GNU GPL v2 or later; the full source is in this repository. Built on the gow3_pc runtime and the shadPS4 video core; the zip's licenses folder lists every bundled library with its license. If you use these fixes in your own port, please credit this project and link back to it.

v0.1.0 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PC port 0.1.0 (beta)October 15, 2026, 14:00 UTC
No game files are included. You need your own dump of the Collection (CUSA02344). This project is not affiliated with Sony, Naughty Dog or Bluepoint Games.
The launcher's Advanced tab shows the version in use.
4. Pick a game and a preset and press PLAY. The first start of each game compiles shaders: expect a slow first load and some stutter until the cache has filled.
Requirements: Windows 10/11 64-bit, a GPU with Vulkan 1.3 and a current driver, 16 GB RAM, a fast CPU (the PS4's GPU command processing runs on the CPU).
What works
- All three games from one launcher, with per-game settings and quality presets (720p to 4K; Drake's Fortune up to 1620p, upscaled with FSR 1).
- Saves, audio (music, speech, effects), cutscene movies, the Collection menu.
- Keyboard and mouse with mouse look and remappable controls per game; DualSense, DualShock 4 and Xbox controllers.
- In-game menu: Insert or R3 + L2 (display mode, frame-rate limit, sharpening, overlay).
Fixed for this release (highlights)
- Uncharted 2: crashes at treasure pickups and in the Treasures screen; Nate floating or invisible; a crash with multithreaded rendering; the frame rate falling over minutes of play; stalls in heavy scenes.
- Faster heavy scenes: every preset now queues 2 frames, so the CPU prepares the next frame while the GPU draws. Uncharted 2's museum at 1080p: 44-47 FPS before, 56-59 now.
- Drake's Fortune: bullet impacts, bullet holes and blood; cutscene movie colours at 1620p; dark interiors (fire and flashlight light).
- All games: grey/black ground and unlit characters; missing sound effects; frame-rate limit capped at 120 (faster breaks the games' movement); launcher and in-game menu settings stay in step.
Full list: CHANGELOG.md.
Recommended settings
- Start with the Medium preset (1080p, as on PS4); High and Ultra need a fast GPU.
- Multithreaded rendering: leave it off, or in Uncharted 2 use it only with Frames queued 1 (see below).
- Drake's Fortune at 4K: turn on Upscale with FSR 1 (it renders at most 1620p).
- Frame-rate limit: 60 is the PS4's; 120 is experimental.
Known issues
- Some heavy Uncharted 2 scenes still dip below 60 FPS with short hitches (frames of 35-50 ms a few times a second). Work on them continues.
- Multithreaded rendering with Frames queued 2 can end Uncharted 2 with the game assert
m_gfxEopTickafter a few minutes. - Uncharted 3 has had less play testing than the other two games.

v0.3.14 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.14November 7, 2026, 17:41 UTC
A big batch of crash, freeze and speed fixes. Thanks to Mevlock, drakolordx7, Lalit Shankar Chowdhury and BilalReloaded!
Faster
- Uncharted 3: the sinking characters fix no longer costs FPS. In 0.3.13 it took the Cartagena square from 88 down to 66 FPS on my PC; now it runs at about 96-104 with the fix on.
- The game itself is built with profile-guided optimization (PGO), a few percent faster everywhere.
- Uncharted 3 London Underground: no more drops from 60 to 10 FPS on cards with 8 GB or more. Textures the game still needed were being thrown out and loaded again.
- Frame generation no longer flickers on and off when the game runs at about 165 FPS.
New: Low latency mode (Display > Low latency)
NVIDIA Reflex on GeForce cards, AMD Anti-Lag 2 on Radeon cards. The game waits to read your controller until the GPU is ready for the next frame, so what you press shows sooner. It helps most when the GPU is the limit. The FPS counter shows "Reflex" or "Anti-Lag 2" when it's on. It's off by default for now. Anti-Lag 2 hasn't been tested on a Radeon yet, so please tell me how it works for you.
Crash and freeze fixes
- Switching games in the collection: the next game sometimes never started. Fixed.
- A game that stops on an error now closes at once instead of sitting frozen for 20 seconds.
- GPU hangs ("device lost") in some effects, and the rare Uncharted 3 start-up crash at 3440x1440.
- A freeze when several game threads mapped memory at the same time.
- Uncharted 2: a crash after a checkpoint jump.
- Games on update 1.02 sometimes stopped when a job ran before it was ready (all three games).
- More fixes in texture levels, depth images, the presenter and the shader cache.
Other
- Continue and New Game go straight into the game: the "friends' stats are not available" notice is skipped. It's a launcher option, on by default, and nothing goes online.
- Uncharted 2 Chapter Select: the first checkpoint of a chapter gets the right weapons.
- No sound? If the audio device won't open, the game now tries simpler audio modes before going silent.
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.13 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.13November 4, 2026, 11:37 UTC
Two things many of you asked for. Thanks to drakolordx7 and dbcalo!
Uncharted 3: characters sinking into the ground, floating or twitching
Characters sinking, enemies floating, legs twitching in fights, Nate falling through the floor (#727, #745, #751, #763). The game's CPU read some ground-hit results before the GPU had written them. This is drakolordx7's fix from the community build.
- It's on by default in Uncharted 3 (the lighter part of the fix). It costs some FPS in heavy scenes: in the Cartagena square, uncapped, it went from 88 to 66 FPS on my PC.
- If characters still sink for you, set Fixes > Sinking characters fix to On in the launcher. That's the full fix, which players confirmed works, but it costs more FPS (53 in the same place).
- Off turns it off if you prefer the frame rate.
Please tell us in #727 if you still see it with the default.
Quit game in the in-game menu (#732)
The settings menu has a Quit game button now. It asks first, and if the game is saving it waits for the save to finish before it closes. Progress since your last save is lost, like quitting on the PS4.
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.12 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.12November 3, 2026, 22:51 UTC
Freeze and crash fixes from your pull requests and from the other forks. Thanks to Jhojan Jiménez, FerManjarres, dbcalo, mato215, and to drakolordx7's community build (fixes by Mevlock, Alex and iannitram).
Fixes
- Game freezes at the start of some cutscenes (picture stops, sound keeps going), mostly in Uncharted 1 (#742, #759).
- Crash fixes in the texture cache when a level loads new images (#742).
- GeForce GTX 10-series cards crash at start (#400, #600): a GPU feature these cards can't handle is now left off for them.
- Intel graphics: Uncharted 3 chapter 2 no longer stops.
- Uncharted 2 convoy: Elena's truck no longer sinks into the road after bumps.
- Uncharted 1 above 60 FPS: objects that should drop or tip over no longer hang in mid-air (the jet ski river barrels), and objects and bodies no longer settle too early.
- Uncharted 1 and 3: flickering surfaces with DLSS, FSR, XeSS or TAA (U1 boat details, U3 London bar).
- Cards under 8 GB no longer keep throwing out and reloading textures they still need (#753).
- In-game menu: checkboxes and sliders change again (#623, same fix as #694).
- Audio with a codec the port doesn't know no longer closes the game.
- Two more crash guards in the GPU command handling (from shadPS4).
For bug reports
- A crash now also writes
user/crash.dmp, and the log names the thread that crashed (#743). If you report a crash, the log is usually enough, but the dump helps with hard ones. - Game hooks get their memory before the GPU starts, so they can't run out of room later (#743, #747).
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.11 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.11October 30, 2026, 22:28 UTC
Crash fixes from Mevlock's dev builds (he works on the port with me, thanks a lot!), with a few from drakolordx7.
Fixes
- Uncharted 1 and 2: crash on
pAction != NULLat high frame rates (often in fights right after a jump). The game keeps Drake's moves in a list with room for 64; at 144 FPS it could fill up. Now there is room for 256. - Crash on
cmdBuf.m_bInUse == false/m_workerThreadIndex == GetCurrentWorkerThreadIndex()on CPUs with 4 to 6 cores (#620). A game job that was drawing could continue on another thread than the one it started on. It now waits a moment on its own thread first. This is on for CPUs with up to 12 threads (where the crash happens); bigger CPUs don't need it and would lose frame rate. With that fixed, "PS4 thread priorities" is off by default again (it only made the crash rarer). You can still turn it on in the Fixes page. - Uncharted 2 and 3: aiming blurred everything behind Drake at resolutions other than 1920x1080 (1440p, 4K, ultrawide). The aiming focus now looks at the middle of the screen at every resolution.
- Uncharted 3: rows of bright blue dots on the chateau walls with DLSS, FSR or XeSS.
- Uncharted 3: blotches in the bloom in some places.
- AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT: crash at start ("Failed to create graphics pipeline"). When the driver refuses a pipeline, it is now made again without the pipeline cache.
- Two more crash guards for broken texture and resource settings while a level loads.
Launcher
- The last 5 game logs are kept (
last_run.log,last_run.1.log...last_run.4.log), so starting again after a crash doesn't overwrite the log that shows it.
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.10 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.10October 30, 2026, 18:24 UTC
Bug fixes for the reports since 0.3.8, and a new look for the launcher. Most of the fixes were found and made by drakolordx7 in the community build, thanks a lot! The NVIDIA crash fix is from Umar-Qayyum-dev and the FSR 3 leak fix from Mevlock.
Fixes
- NVIDIA: Uncharted 1 and 2 crashing ("device lost") above about 55 FPS. One of the skinning shaders ran 1024 threads per group, and the NVIDIA driver sometimes refused it under load. It now runs as smaller groups, and characters look the same. No FPS limit needed anymore. (#720)
- Uncharted 1: crashes in the Customs House (chapter 10) and after some cutscenes (
iSubMesh < m_numSubMeshInstances), and instant death on the jet ski in chapter 8 when shooting: the mesh raycaster results now reach the game in Uncharted 1 too, like in Uncharted 2. (#617, #618, #619) - Uncharted 2: guns black and untextured since 0.3.8: the small GPU readback is back on by default for Uncharted 2. (#599)
- Uncharted 3: black boxes that grow on screen, black guns from chapter 2 on: the same small readback is now on in Uncharted 3, but it runs in the background, so the Cartagena square keeps its frame rate. (#601, #603)
- FSR 3 frame generation: video memory climbs until the game crashes: its per-frame GPU memory is freed now. DLSS frame generation was not affected. (#613)
- Idle game workers sleep by default on CPUs with up to 12 threads (was 8). A 12-thread i5-10400 used twice the CPU without it.
Launcher
- New look with more of an Uncharted feel: warm colours like an old journal, a brass compass, and new pictures for the three games and an old map for the banner.
- All pictures in the launcher are now my own, drawn by code. No official art or game pictures anymore. You can still set your own pictures with "Change image".
The shaders are built again once after the update (new shader cache version), so the first minutes of each game can stutter a bit.
If you set any of the fixes by hand in the Fixes page, set them back to Automatic.
Still open: Uncharted 1 on GTX 10-series cards losing the GPU after Continue (#400, #600), test whether this update helps there too. If you get cmdBuf.m_bInUse crashes in Uncharted 1, try "PS4 thread priorities" Off in the Fixes page and tell us in #620.
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.9 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.9October 24, 2026, 18:47 UTC
This update brings fixes from BilalReloaded's Uncharted port. Thanks for finding these!
- Uncharted 3: Sully's shirt no longer explodes into green/black triangles. The cloth simulation shaders run in groups of 64 on PS4, NVIDIA runs them as two halves of 32 that got out of step. The two cloth shaders now wait where they need to. Only those two shaders rebuild, the rest of your shader cache stays.
- "Error 1450" at start ("cannot create 6080 MiB of guest memory"): the game's memory is now taken from Windows as the game uses it, not all at once at start. PCs with 16 GB and a small page file, or with other programs open, can start the game again.
- Uncharted 3: crash climbing the fort in chapter 8 (
m_lookAt.X() == m_lookAt.X()): when the point Drake looks at becomes invalid, the game now resets it instead of stopping. For the 1.00 and 1.02 versions. - Uncharted 3: crash in Syria and Uncharted 2: crash at the treasure screen from broken texture descriptions while a level loads: those are now skipped instead of stopping the game.
Also still in: everything from 0.3.8 (higher resolutions, ultrawide, trophies, cheats, Fixes tab, button prompts).
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.8 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.8October 23, 2026, 19:20 UTC
The biggest update so far, again with a lot of help from you. Thanks to everyone who sent fixes!
Higher resolutions and ultrawide (#391, drakolordx7)
- The games now really render above 1080p (up to 3200x1800) and at 21:9 and 32:9, not a stretched 1080p picture. Set it on the Display page. Tested at 2560x1440: about 78 FPS in the U3 Cartagena square on an RTX 5080.
Less stutter (#389, #416, #412, drakolordx7)
- Shaders are built in the background instead of freezing the game, and each graphics card gets its own shader cache. On a first run the busy U3 square stayed around 87 FPS while building shaders.
New in the launcher
- Fixes page: the fixes that cost speed (for example the U2 mesh fix, the brightness flicker fix, the small video memory mode) can be set to Automatic, On or Off. Automatic only turns each one on where it helps.
- Trophies page, with a notice in the game when you earn one. (#472, drakolordx7)
- Cheats page: infinite health and ammo per game. (#116, saulob)
- Button prompts for keyboard and mouse (#420, Umar-Qayyum-dev) and Xbox controllers (#469, drakolordx7).

v0.3.7 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.7October 23, 2026, 18:46 UTC
Another big one built from your pull requests. Thank you all!
Crash fixes
- Random U1 crashes ("execute access to 0") and the crash at
0x63f5d0on Intel 12th gen and newer: Windows wrote its exception data over values the game keeps just below the stack. All three games are protected now. (#559, Umar-Qayyum-dev; also found by d4rksp4rt4n in #403 and drakolordx7 in #396) - U2
iSubMesh < m_numSubMeshInstancesafter checkpoints: the mesh raycaster's GPU results now reach the game. On for Uncharted 2. (#397, drakolordx7) - Memory leak: about 1 GB of extra memory per hour of play is gone. (#445, drakolordx7)
- The
m_gfxEopTickfix now finds the check in even more game builds. (#405, drakolordx7) - Draw preparation can no longer break on data the game is still writing. (#409, drakolordx7)
- If another program sits where the game needs its memory, the game now starts again by itself instead of failing (exit 21). (#406, drakolordx7)
- Fixes in memory mapping and save mounting. (#521, #522, drakolordx7)
Older CPUs
- Intel Core 3rd gen (Ivy Bridge) now runs all three games: the missing instructions are rewritten when the game starts. (#336, Umar-Qayyum-dev)
- Sandy Bridge (2nd gen) still can't, it also misses F16C.
Graphics and video memory
- 4-8 GB cards stay inside their video memory. (#390, drakolordx7)
- Uncharted 2: exact GPU results for explosions, vehicle damage and the chapter 21 convoy (#382, ngin), and enemies stay in focus when aiming (#528, Umar-Qayyum-dev).
Sound
- 5.1 and 7.1 surround: the games are told your real speaker setup, with a Speakers choice in the launcher. (#392, drakolordx7)
Controls and launcher
- Mouse look and the other game patches now work on the US/EU 1.02 versions too. (#348, drakolordx7)
- 30 FPS choice. (#544, drakolordx7)
- Numpad keys can be bound. (#473, eduardoghi)
Other
- Game threads get the PS4's thread priorities. (#547, drakolordx7)
- On CPUs with 8 threads or less, idle game workers sleep instead of using every core. (#346, kuraeow)
- Plain ELF dumps (Itemzflow) are accepted. (#520, drakolordx7)
- Trophy and title paths fixed for dumps without parameter 1. (#353, iannitram)

v0.3.6 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.6October 17, 2026, 23:37 UTC
- Uncharted 2 train wreck crash (
IsFinite(deltaTransform)in character-leg-ik.cpp, #88 #253): when the leg animation gets a broken value for one frame, it now counts as no movement instead of stopping the game. For the EU 1.00 version for now; if you get it on another version, post your log. - AMD FX CPUs (FX-8350 and friends, #251): the only PS4 instruction they're missing is MOVBE, so the port now does that one itself. The game should start and play, maybe a bit slower in some spots. Please tell me how it runs!
- Black squares in Uncharted 2 (snowy sky, rocks): a broken pixel no longer grows into black blocks. (#109, spacepepperoni)
Note: your shader cache is rebuilt once with this version, so the first minutes of each game can stutter a bit more than usual.
Intel Core 3rd generation and older (Sandy/Ivy Bridge) still can't run the games. They miss more instructions, some of which don't even fail, they just give wrong results. That needs a much bigger change.
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.5 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.5October 17, 2026, 23:22 UTC
- Uncharted 2 loading crashes: reads of game files could come back cut short without any error, so the game got half a file. That's the
ReadSync file (req/read: 392775/16384)crash in the train wreck (#101, thanks Greamos for tracking it down), and most likely the white textures followed byiSubMesh < m_numSubMeshInstances(#9, #37, #199, #233, #252). Files are now read to the end. - Uncharted 3 crash from MP3 audio in the London streets (#155): MP3 sound is now decoded properly. (#162, sid1552)
- Older CPUs (Intel Core 3rd gen and older, AMD FX): the games use instructions of the PS4's processor that these CPUs don't have. Instead of crashing with
0xc000001d, the game now tells you which ones are missing. Support for these CPUs is on the list, but it's a big job. (#144, #197, #247, #251)
If you used 0.3.4: you get everything from it too (London bar fix, 1.02 frame fix, blue textures, launcher fixes).
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.4 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.4October 17, 2026, 22:59 UTC
A big one, mostly thanks to people who sent fixes. Thank you all!
Crash fixes
- Uncharted 3 London bar crash (fault at
0xd9c59b, device lost in the bar fight): when the game wrote a value that was already there, the port could keep stale graphics data instead. Now whole 64-byte blocks count as the game's. (#159, sid1552) m_gfxEopTickcrash on the 1.02 versions (US CUSA02320 and EU CUSA02344): the 0.3.2 fix didn't find the check in those builds, now it does. (#164, drakolordx7)- "ReserveRecordData" stop when the game sends a huge batch of copies. (#222, EdouardSence)
- Better crash reports when the GPU is lost during a submit. (#160, sid1552)
Graphics
- Blue/white textures that stay until something reloads them (U1 chapter 6, chapter 14...): textures moved by GPU copies are now refreshed. (#258, EdouardSence)
- Frees more texture memory when video memory is very full. Should help 6-8 GB cards (#256). (#257, Pedro Delfino)
- Threads start with the PS4's floating point settings, which should mean fewer NPCs floating in the air (#33). (#180, ngin)
Launcher and controls (#167, drakolordx7)
- Side mouse buttons can be bound (#20)
- Faster mouse look and a wider sensitivity slider (#18)
- Optional separate folder for each game (#2)
- No more "codec can't encode" error on Chinese/Taiwanese Windows (#28, also #169 by Rick)
Also: builds with the newest MSYS2 compiler (#163, sid1552), Bloodborne leftovers removed from the in-game menu (#221, EdouardSence), docs fixes (#240, #241, lunar-me).
Careful: the "All Crashes Fix Command" / "1-click Install" posts in the issues are malware. The only real updates are on this releases page and in the launcher.
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.3 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.3October 15, 2026, 21:49 UTC
- Intel HD 630 black screen fixed (#56). Intel's Windows driver draws nothing with one Vulkan feature (vertex input dynamic state), so it's now off on Intel. Thanks to the reporter for tracking it down. If you want to try it anyway: set
BB_VERTEX_INPUT_DYNAMIC=1. - Also has the 0.3.2 fix for the
m_gfxEopTickcrash after U1's first cutscene.
About 4 GB graphics cards (GTX 1650, RX 570, ...): the games need more video memory than that and crash after a while. I'm putting 6 GB as the requirement for now. On 4 GB cards keep Anti-aliasing and Frame generation off, it helps a bit.
Still looking at: the Uncharted 2 streaming crash (iSubMesh < m_numSubMeshInstances, #9 #37) and the Uncharted 3 London bar crash (0xd9c59b, #29 #34 #45 #52 #71). Both happen on the US version 1.02 (CUSA02320).

v0.3.2 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.2October 15, 2026, 21:37 UTC
The real fix for the crash right after the first cutscene in Uncharted 1 (skipped or not), and the same crash in U2/U3:
ASSERTION: GetRenderFrameParams(frameToFreeInstancesFor)->m_gfxEopTick
What was going on: at the start of every frame the game checks that the graphics side is done with a frame from three frames ago, so it can reuse it. On PS4 that's always true, so the game never waits, it just stops if it isn't. On PC the graphics side can fall behind for a moment, mostly while shaders are being built on a first run, and the game stopped. Now it waits for that frame instead. I tested it by slowing the graphics side down on purpose: the game kept running without a crash.
0.3.1's guess at a fix didn't help, sorry about that. It's turned off again in this version.
If you still get this crash with 0.3.2, please post your user\last_run.log in your issue.
Update: the launcher offers it when it starts, or unpack uncharted-windows.zip below over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.

v0.3.1 Uncharted for Windows 0.3.1October 15, 2026, 10:58 UTC
Small update for the crash a lot of you got in Uncharted 1 (and sometimes the others) right after the first cutscene or a few seconds into gameplay:
ASSERTION: GetRenderFrameParams(frameToFreeInstancesFor)->m_gfxEopTick
When the graphics side was busy for a while (building shaders on a first run, or an upscaler starting up), the game could run several frames ahead of it and then stop on this check. Now the game stays at most one frame ahead, the same as on a real PS4.
I couldn't trigger this crash on my own PC, so if you had it (#5, #14, #16), please try 0.3.1 and tell me in your issue if it's fixed or not. If it still crashes, attach your user\last_run.log.
Update: the launcher offers it on the left when it starts, or download uncharted-windows.zip below and unpack it over your old folder. Saves and settings are kept.
Still open: Uncharted 2 streaming/white textures (#9), crashes on Intel graphics (#14, #15), the 4K/internal resolution question (#7). I'm on them.

v0.3 Uncharted for Windows 0.3October 15, 2026, 00:17 UTC
First public build of my Uncharted port. All three games from the PS4 collection run natively on Windows.
Download: uncharted-windows.zip below. Unpack it, start Uncharted.exe, pick your game folder and press PLAY. No game files are included, you need your own decrypted dump (CUSA02343, CUSA02320, ...).
What's in it
- Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake's Deception from one launcher
- 60 or 120 FPS, TAA / FSR 3.1 / FSR 4 / DLSS anti-aliasing
- FSR 3 and DLSS frame generation
- Keyboard, mouse and controller, mouse look in U3
- Add to Steam, desktop shortcut, updates from the launcher
Fixed in this version
- Uncharted 3, Cartagena square (chapter 2): the game could freeze and close with "GPU crash: the graphics device was lost" when playing at high frame rates (240 Hz setting). The speed fix for that area threw away or mixed up some data the GPU still needed. Now that data is copied back properly, and the square stays smooth (no more stutters there).
Known problems
- If the Cartagena crash still happens to you, set Frame rate to 60 on the Display page and open an issue with your
user\last_run.log. - Uncharted 3: green or black shapes can flash for one frame on some characters (Sully's shirt). shadPS4 has the same problem, I'm still looking into it.
- Frame rates above 120 are experimental.
Port by SuperMedo.

Frequently asked questions
What is the latest version of the Uncharted PC port?
BilalReloaded’s port: v0.8.4, published November 6, 2026, 09:56 UTC. SuperMedo’s port: v0.3.14, published November 7, 2026, 17:41 UTC.
How often do the Uncharted PC ports update?
Every few days. BilalReloaded published 23 releases between October 15, 2026 and November 6, 2026 (most recent: v0.8.4, v0.8.3, v0.8.2, v0.8.1, v0.8.0, v0.7.2); SuperMedo published 15 between October 15, 2026 and November 7, 2026.
What did v0.8.4 change?
BilalReloaded 0.8.4 fixed Uncharted 3’s “device lost” in chapter 2 when young Sully appears by giving every compute shader the PS4’s behaviour for out-of-range reads, turned on multithreaded rendering for Uncharted 1 (91 → 118–120 FPS where one core was the limit) and made GPU breadcrumbs work on cards with resizable BAR.
Do I lose my saves when I update?
No. Both launchers replace the program files and keep saves, settings and the shader cache. Some updates rebuild part of the shader cache once, so the first minutes after an update can stutter.
